BMO200 FOUNTAIN: WISH IT FORWARD
BMO Harris wanted to do something special for their 200th Year Anniversary, but they wanted to keep their legacy of being a bank that helped the community and show more people who they really are.
We worked with them to create a wishing fountain that bridged the digital and physical world. People can use their phones to throw a digital coin and watch the fountain made out of flip dots ripple in real time. What these wish makers didn't know was that their wish could come true.
WISH #4: "PACKSTALLATION"
A mom from Chicago made a wish online at for her 13-year old son, Micah, who wanted to pack 2000 journey bag for foster kids. He had a passion of helping them ever since he found out that these children would move from house to house without getting enough time to pack a bag. So, BMO decided to make this mom's wish come true and surprise Micah with 2000 packed bags with the help of BMO employees. To make it more exciting for Micah's reveal, we also created an art installation with backpacks. This is Wish #4 come true.
I was a Creative Production Assistant for the shooting of Wish #5, where I specifically worked on: ideating on the shoot, helping create an action plan for packing the bags with the coloring books, crayons, journals, pens, socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, night lights, blankets, and other supplies, assisted in making sure the environment was clean and ready to film, communicating with Micah and his mom as well as the clients, and just getting my hands dirty with helping pack 500 bags the day before the shoot, preparing supplies and moving the bags to the truck for transportation.
